SuiteWorld 2015 was the most exciting event of the year and we’re not even halfway through! We saw familiar faces and made new friends. There was no doubt that the iCharts booth was buzzing with energy during the three and a half day event. Watch the video for the wrap-up interview that I conducted with Seymour Duncker, iCharts’ Founder & CEO.
We really enjoyed the keynote presentations. New CMO Fred Studer’s re-design of the entire event was instantly apparent-this includes the title of this blog post, which was the theme of his keynote on Thursday. The clean, minimal approach was seen in NetSuite’s slides and numerous signages throughout the San Jose Convention Center. The main keynote circular stage with corresponding large screen monitors were awe-inspiring. The first keynote began with a spoken word performance, which encompassed the elements of change and innovation. NetSuite announced their new SuiteCommerce In-Store solution which they describe as ‘…the first system that integrates comprehensive omni-channel capabilities into an enterprise-class, mobile-first, point-of-sale (POS) solution and seamlessly unifies the online and in-store customer journey‘. We saw 2 live demonstrations of their In-Store solution and it’s very remarkable. SuiteCommerce InStore will provide real-time views into store statistics and financials as well as a 360-degree view into customer profiles. That’s a lot of new data that needs to be visualized!
NetSuite shared their new Procure-To-Pay capabilities. The new procurement portal now supports blanket purchase ordering, self-service vendor capabilities, global vendor management and customizable workflows.
Furthering their foray into the mobile space, NetSuite also announced the first end-to-end cloud business management suite for Android. This unified ERP, CRM and eCommerce experience brings NetSuite into the mobile space with the largest market share.
Also announced throughout the 3 days of presentations were new NetSuite partners. The largest partners include Microsoft, American Express Global Travel and Dun & Bradstreet. Congratulations to Bronto whom were acquired by NetSuite for a cool $200 million. Big names were on the new customer list as well. New NetSuite customers include, Elite Model Management, Billabong, Domino’s and TGI Friday’s.
Here are some of our SuiteWorld highlights:
Zach Nelson, NetSuite’s CEO, visited our booth and we shared with him our latest capabilities. Evan Goldberg, NetSuite’s CTO, also dropped by and we ran a demo with him. Ray Wang, the Founder and Chairman of Constellation Research also stopped by. We gave away 500 portable phone chargers.
We had live on-site video interviews where attendees were able to see how easy it is for iCharts to make them look good at their next meeting.
And our booth was bustling with so much traffic during the entire event that we had trouble keeping up. Thank you for visiting us!
During the event, we also shared two important announcements that will help NetSuite customers get a true 360-degree view of their business, right within their NetSuite dashboards. We announced the release of our data blending capabilities, which combined with our strategic partnership with Celigo opens up endless possibilities for NetSuite’s customers.
SuiteWorld was an amazing experience for our company and team. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
