Founder & CEO Seymour Duncker introduces the all new iCharts for NetSuite at SuiteWorld 2017

Kelly:

So as you guys have heard there are some pretty incredible changes coming to the industry. What a better way to see the impact of these changes and to hear from customers that are planning, navigating successfully, getting ready for the changes to happen to the industry.

 

I’d like to invite our first customer on stage. iCharts, a leader in the visual reporting for NetSuite, that joined the Net Suite family back in December of 2016 through SuiteSuccess. It is my pleasure to invite Seymour Duncker, C.E.O. and founder of iCharts.

 

So I mentioned, you guys joined the NetSuite family back in December. You’re here to talk about success and kind of what that journey has looked like, but before we get into that, walk us through what iCharts is.

 

Seymour:

Absolutely. iCharts is a business a business intelligence and analytics solution built natively on top of NetSuite. You can create interactive charts, you can create pivot tables, basically get real time insights right inside of your NetSuite dashboard.

 

or example you can look at your ARR trends, how’s your churn coming along, figure out what are your most profitable customer segments are, all inside of NetSuite.

We just launched our all-new iCharts, great new capabilities, great new features, new look and feel, and we’re very excited about it. Looking forward to demo it to everybody.

 

Kelly:

Great! We’re excited to have you here. So you guys were on QuickBooks before you joined NetSuite, and a main driver for that transition was SuiteSuccess so what made you feel comfortable about it?

 

Seymour:

It’s great to be a NetSuite customer now, and SuiteSuccess really did it for us. We are a fast growing company, like I’m sure like a lot of companies in the audience, and what that basically means is that the most important thing for me is to focus our resources, our limited resources, on those things that matter most, which is bringing a great product and bringing the product to customers like yourselves. It’s a prepackaged configuration and that gives me a clear timeline, start to end and plan for that. Most importantly, it is allows me to reduce the required skill that I need to have on board to implement. I don’t need to worry which is my most important configuration What is the right configuration for me because you guys have already done that.

 

The second thing is best practices. As a fast growing company, things change every day. New stuff comes up. Yesterday it was order management, today it’s customer success, to international growth and I don’t want to reinvent the wheel here. So what I want to do is I want to understand the best practices, I want to implement those best practices, and I want to select them from a source that I can trust, and that’s NetSuite.

 

Kelly:

So then, other than saving time not reinventing the wheel, what else as SuiteSuccess enabled your business to do that you guys couldn’t do before?

 

Seymour:

It’s allowing me to focus our scarce resources on what matters most to us and I can bring the most value to customers.

 

Kelly:

You’re a founder, a CEO in the software industry, and you’ve heard a lot of the changes that are coming, how are you preparing iCharts for what’s ahead?

 

Seymour:

There’s a lot of changes happening. The one that’s most relevant is data. Big data. More data is collected every day, people are measuring more and more things they want to be able to act on that data in real time.I t’s almost. as if real time action across the organization is really key. That’s why our partnership is such a great partnership. You collect the data in NetSuite, and with iCharts you basically get real time insights you can act upon.

 

Kelly:

So we’ve heard the theme of world is that starts now. What is next for you guys?

 

Seymour:

So we’re following the great example of SuiteSuccess so we’re launching our own Quick Templates. Basically, prepackaged KPIs that you can get up and running like immediately for software verticals this is such as ARR trends, churn trends, customer segmentation, how’s that changing over time. So we provide the best of both worlds. You get those prepackaged right out of the box, but also KPIs constantly change. I’m constantly working on the dashboard for my company. Being able to morph those KPIs as the business is morphing is key. As I said before, we are really excited to introduce the all new iCharts.
